Recycling Week

Students from class 3 on Chapel Street spent a morning looking at why we need to recycle, what can be recycled and how we recycle.

There were lots of different activities going on, two pupils worked together to write a rap about recycling facts, which was performed in assembly that week. Another student researched how sea plastics and recycled materials are being used in the manufacturing of car parts.

In the afternoon students from class 3 went to the local park with litter pickers and bin bags. We picked up a lot of litter from around the park, we helped make the park a cleaner place for the local community.
