Class 5 recently achieved a fantastic success with their Mini Enterprise project as part of their ASDAN qualification. This practical unit, which forms a vital part of their final portfolio submission, saw the students take full charge of a major fundraising effort for their chosen charity, Holly’s Hearts. After careful planning and teamwork, the students decided on a Christmas Tombola and spent weeks getting every prize wrapped and prepared for the big event.
On Monday, December 15th, the project came to life as the class set up a vibrant stall at Leigh Market. The atmosphere was buzzing, and the students truly excelled as mini-entrepreneurs, attracting so much attention from the local community that the stall sold out in a matter of hours. Thanks to their hard work and the brilliant management of the stall by CM and JO throughout the day, the class managed to raise a phenomenal £157. A huge well done goes to all of Class 5 for their dedication, and a special thanks to Miss Deb for her fantastic organization in making this event such a runaway success.
