Young Carer’s Action Day – “Fair Futures for Young Carers”
Wednesday 11th March 2026
Young Carer’s Action Day is a national event that celebrates and raises awareness of the incredible children and young people who help care for a family member. This year’s theme chosen by the Carer’s Trust, “Fair Futures for Young Carers,” highlights the importance of giving young carers the same opportunities to learn, grow and thrive as their peers.
Young carers often take on significant responsibilities at home, which can affect their wellbeing, education and future opportunities. It’s important that families know that support is available locally. You can find out more on the young carer webpages and on the following link: Young Carers Action Day 2026: Resources.
